Little Boy

"I want to hear how he is going to get the boy" he said, "We have the boy, then we have the ultimate leverage. Those women will do anything I ask".

The boy was with his Grandad. James lay on the floor colouring in a homework assignment. As he coloured he sang to himself. James had an extraordinary voice. A God-given voice. It startled all who heard it.

Sister Margaret had long encouraged Violet to let him audition for the school choir.

"He is an extraordinary little boy, Violet. You're too protective over him. He'll start to notice. You must give him some freedom."

Violet always declined. "Sister, I know you want the best for him, but he's too good. He would stand out. I want James to remain as anonymous as he can possibly be."

Haha -- between Scarlet's post and this one, Misssy, so much for Kate's plan to make everything nice and civilized for Christmas!

Things may get rough, but I'd like to think that good will out.

But really this stopped being civilised at about post 5...

(Tried to post a little video of Aled Jones at his most choirboy angelic but couldn't embed and I nearly broke the blog machine- would be grateful if someone a little more savvy could edit and include agt the bottom of the post- cheers!)

I wonder when Dickens was writing his serializations if he knew well in advance where he was going, knew when the end was in sight, and knew when he was really done.

Anyone know?

Although we'd said this would be a month-long project I can easily see the story going on almost indefinitely.

P.S. The Aled Jones vid is working fine, if "O Holy Night" is the one you meant to use!

P.P.S. Complete storyline updated through this post (20Kish words!).

Well done JES. If 'O Holy Night' wasn't the one you wanted Misssy let me know (did think of putting 'Walking in the Air' up but couldn't bear the thought of the Snowman being dragged into this dark tale ...

No I wanted Aled in choral splendour- so perfect.

Also as I think I said before...please let's not do anything nasty to the child. The child is a bargaining chip, one that poor old Joe doesn't realise he's being used to get.

I am not evil.

Not really....

OK, I am a little bit. (I vote we do horror next!!)

Jesus, and I thought I was twisted. I suddenly feel very normal.

Everything you never wanted to know about Dickens (Souce: Uncyclopedia, being a prime source of information, supported by the Cornish and persons of other regions):

I'm with Misssy on this one - no harm to the child! (I'm still working on a way to get the dwarves, cats and hamsters off the hook too ...) As Misssy said - good will out (won't it?)
