I can't vote since I have not been able this time around to keep track. I'd like a new line so that I can have a second chance to follow, but that is selfish of me. Whatever works!
I think we can finish this up and it shouldn't take too long.I don't want to see this just hanging in the air, though. It needs to come to some sort of end. I don't feel like it's complete yet.
I haven't really wanted to just DO IT, not without other people around or without Kate, especially.
But I bet we could just whip something into shape. I mean, it's not as if we ever stopped for long to consider where we were going, but it went, certainly.
Cool poll Jes! Please do finish him/them off. I'll click you and Rowena on as Admin too if that helps with things. Sorry unable to string a sentence together - wouldn't do Monsieur justice at the moment :(
Btw, the poll closes 1/19/09. We might have our collective answer before then; I just wanted to be sure everybody had time to "discover" a new post. :)
Sorry folks, have just been too busy/rubbish/preoccupied/blocked to do anything on Burning Lines since Christmas. I'm with the "I got lost" camp- it all went seriously mental and I lost the plot quite literally! Probably more down to me being away for a week and not keeping up than anything else. But good luck on finishing it.
Welcome to Burning Lines - an online writing group. This is something of an experiment for December - a group of writers and artists who have met online creating an entirely new collaborative piece of fiction. If it goes well, we'll try a different theme/genre each month, selected by each of the group members in turn.
The rules are simple - there are no rules. It's for fun, and completely freeform. The contributors can upload fiction, illustrations, photos, music, video clips if they want to, anything that contributes to the story we are telling - and write two or two thousand words, drop by once or everyday. The contributors can dive into the story whenever they feel like it. If each post ends with a question or challenge - or mid sentence - so that the next person posting has something to work with that will help the story flow.
To contributors and readers alike - thanks for coming by.

Let's see how this goes. I have a handful of successfully finer-meshed polls I can post, depending.
Among the "twiigs" poll gizmo's options was the color of the poll results bars. I chose the only logical one at this point -- a rich deep red.
Feel free to chime in in the comments, obviously, with nuances. Or hell, with broad sloppy brushstrokes.
I think it kinda came to a natural conclusion... with the Devil being in control...
I'd always try to chip in if people want to continue.
Sx

Who has the power to vanquish the devil?
